Every year, there is a great firework display right in front of our house. Gord, Molly, and I sat out on the end of the dock and watched them. It was a lot of fun, since this is really the first year Molly was not afraid of them. (Finn slept inside the house). Molly decided the fireworks were a gift from her great-grandma Mimi, who is now up in heaven. Molly kept thanking Mimi for the "beautiful colors".
After the fireworks, we took a boat ride (yes...we brought Finn with us!). We met up with Gord's two brothers and her cousins. Molly is having a great time this summer with her many cousins.

Fourth of July is Rose's birthday (Gord's sister). We had cake and a small party at Pat and Bill's. The weather was not so great, so we took it easy the rest of the day.
