Today the snow fell. They cancelled schools, and the roads were thick with snow. In total, they are expecting up to 18" with this storm. Molly could not wait to get dressed (head to toe in LL Bean of course) and go play in the snow. I am a little embarrassed by our previous post about the snow...as this is definitely a snow storm.

Molly and I built a snow queen. She has a tiara, and a rose...everything a queen needs. We even gave her a carrot for a nose!
(Deborah...I cannot get the little song you taught Molly out of my head..."Nibble, nibble crunch")
Where was Finn you ask, while Molly and I built our snow queen? He was seeking shelter in the back of our minivan!! Can you see the look on his face? Finn was not too crazy about the idea of the cold!!! This boy must be from Texas!
It was time to take Finn inside, but Molly was not ready to leave the snow. I told Molly she could stay in the yard and play, but she had to stay where I could see her. Molly called me outside to ask if she could eat the snow. I thought about it, and of course the mother in me wanted to say "NO", but the truth is, this is really the first time Molly has woken up to snow (aside from our visits in Utah), and I am sure I consumed my fair share of snow when I was her age. I told her to avoid yellow and/or dirty snow. "Look for the white snow!!!"
The above picture is of Molly on her belly eating the snow. She probably had enough snow to fill her little belly...ahhh...to be a kid again!!!
