Too Early For a Bowling League?

We went bowling last Sunday. It was "candlepin" bowling. The balls are small, and the pins are thinner than regular pins. Molly had been asking to go, so Gord and I took her...and she beat us!

Molly has a form all her own, and it seems to take FOREVER for her balls to get down the lane. There are bumpers on both sides, so there is no problem with the gutter. In candlepin bowling, you have three balls for each frame, and you bowl two frames in one turn (6 balls in total).

On Wednesdays, there is a "Bumper League" for children Molly's age. We signed her up, and she will now bowl one game a week. Molly is in the league with her great friend, Sarah. They have fun, but trust me...one game is plenty!!!
