After the Hockey season...we packed up the kids and drove to Salt Lake City to see my family. We had a great time, and it was so nice to have Gord with us. I think the last time Gord was in Utah was on his 45th birthday, and even then it was only for a few days.
This is the Place Monument is a large statue representing the Mormon Pioneers discovering the valley known as Salt Lake City. I am not too interested in the History of the Mormon settlers, but I must say the view from the monument is breathtaking...Damn, I guess I should have taken a picture of the view!!! Just trust me on that!!
This is also the place Finn fell on cobble stone and hit his head quite hard. We were lucky not to have needed a trip to the ER after this spill. But good thing he has a hard skull...as it was back to playing a few moments later!!

We took the kids to The Hogle Zoo, and as soon as we walked in, a bird flew over Gord and pooped on his shoulder!! Molly thought this was so funny! ( I did too!!)
