Finn was baptised August 18th in New York. The family met at the church for the baptism, and then we had a brunch at the Merrill Magee Inn. The weather was beautiful, and Finn was in good spirits. The baptismal gown Finnegan is wearing was borrowed from Gord's Aunt Marg. Gord's paternal grandmother, Rose Finnegan, purchased this dress for one of his cousins, and it has been passed through the family. It meant a lot to have a close connection to the great-grandmother whose last name was Finnegan.
Peter and Brandy are Finn's Godparents.
My friend Jill came to town and graced us with her presence at Finn's baptism. Molly loves her Jilly-Bean, as she is known in our family, and was glad to spend time with her.
